Bishop MOORE Obituary

MOORE, Bishop Bruce MacGregor. Passed away peacefully in Taupo on Monday 11th April 2022, aged 90 years. Beloved husband of Diana, father of Catherine, Teresa, Christopher, Andrew and Rachel (deceased) and grandfather of Vivienne, Monique, Liv, Luke and Sam. Brother to Margaret, Elisabeth, John (deceased), Mary (deceased) and Anne (deceased). A Requiem Mass to celebrate the life of Bishop Bruce will be held at St Andrew's Anglican Church, Titiraupenga Street, Taupo on Wednesday 20th April at 11.00am. The service will be live streamed and may be viewed at www.live2u.co.nz In appreciation of their great service, donations to St John's Ambulance, Taupo may be left at the service. It is with much sadness I heard of Father Bruce's death yesterday at St Stephen on the Cliffs, Blackpool. He is indeed still fondly remembered
and was included in our prayers.

Our deepest sympathy to Diana and the Moore family. My wife and I were married by Bruce 51 years ago at St.Matthais Church,Panmure on 23 January 1971.I was also an altar boy for Bruce at St.Bartholomews in Panmure for many years.We have many happy and some humorous memories from all those years ago.Rest in Peace Bruce-a true gentleman and faithful servant to God.
