Billie McKANE Obituary

McKANE, Billie (Macdonald-Murray). 26th September 1931 (Penzance, Cornwall) - 31st March 2025 (Auckland). Much loved and loving wife of the late Kingi. Big sister of Tony (Penzance) and Jeannie (London). Cherished, vibrant Mum of Cheryl and Miles and the proudest Grandma and Great Grandma, ever, of Corin, Byron, Rebecca , Poppy, Violet and newly arrived Maggie. For over 70 years she was Aunty Billie to the Crossman, Smith and McKane families and she will be remembered by her nieces, nephews and whanau with warm affection. The funeral service for Billie will take place at the All Saints Chapel Purewa Cemetery 2pm Thursday 10th April 2025. Internment of Billie and Kingi will be graveside at Purewa Cemetery 11.30am Friday 11th April followed by lunch at Kingi and Billie's home.
