TIMMS, Bill. On 26 August we farewelled our beloved Bill. Devoted husband of Marjorie for 60 years, father of Karen and Graeme, granddad of Sarah and Nigel, father-in-law of Tiffany, and dearest friend of Quinn. A love of the Sea and the land. From Antarctica to the Otago Harbour and Portobello oh Tironui. From Te Anau to the Bay of Islands, the Hauraki Gulf to Raes Rest and Lake Rotoiti, Bill found his joy, his soul rested in adventure. Bill cherished his family but with Marjorie they were one. Go well dear Bill, your headsail is trimmed. With Riesling in hand and oysters at ten.
