Bill MORLEY Obituary

Bill was a special person who set an example to many. He was a legend. My boss at Officer Training School (OTS) and colleuge during his years in recruiting, where he recruited my son, CMDRE Garin Golding . Outside of Navy I enjoyed his sense of humor during a hunt with fellow GIs, and Arthur Taylor down the Titoromiro River. My heart felt condolences to you Rosemary and wider family. Kia Kaha.

Unforgettable memories of Singapore when Mark invited me over to stay during the Christmas Holidays. Bill & you ferrying us around the Zoo , Water-skiing , Bobbies ,Sentosa , NZ World cup football game , Malaysia etc, etc, what a great time.

To us, Bill´s younger cousins, as we grew up, Bill was a hero. Bill and Barbara are our only NZ cousins and important figures in our lives. We took pride in their respective achievements, and Bill´s have been many over the years.
We remember too, when we were young, how thrilled Grandma Lil, and Mum, Ena (Bill´s aunt) were when "tall, dark and handsome" Bill came to visit.
Very sad to farewell our hero.

Condolences to Bill's family and especially Barbara....my sister Joan Haldane was her friend and I have old memories of buying ice creams at the family milk bar by the fire station in Wellington.
