Bill CUMMINGS Obituary

CUMMINGS, Bill (William). (Of Whitianga.) Peacefully at home surrounded by family. Loved Husband of Annette, treasured Father and Father- in-law of Carmel, Vicky and Paul, Deirdre and Michael, Joanne and Bruce, Angela and Raymond, Jennifer and Kurt, Sonia and Hannah. Cherished Grandfather and Great- Grandfather of Alyssa, Emma, Bridget, Hilary, Daniel, Baden, Mitchell, Felicia, Nicholas, Alexandra, Deannah, Max, Stella, Maddix, Malia, and Sasha. 'The final ride of the oldest boy racer'. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bill at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 16 Campbell Street, Whitianga, on Monday 27th September, at 11am, followed by private cremation.

Annette and family. Our behalf of my family and of the Manurewa Table Tennis Club I would like to express our condolences at Bill's passing. Bill's contribution to the club during the time the club built our original table tennis hall and in the following years was significant. We remember his great sense of humour and enjoyed catching up with him again at the club's 70th Anniversary in 2017. On a personal note my mother really loved the painting he did for her and since her passing it now lives at my home on Waiheke.
