Bevan LAWES Obituary

LAWES, Bevan Maurice MBE. Warrant Officer Radio Supervisor (Rtd), in his 85th year. Passed away early Sunday 10 November 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at the Evelyn Page Retirement Village, Orewa. Dearly beloved and cherished husband of the late Shirley, devoted and greatly loved father and father-in-law of: Murray and Tanya, Maxine and Andrew, Andrew and Jackie, Michael and Michelle. Treasured grandfather of Jacob, Kalib and Laura, Keziah and Allan, Seth, Amelie, Isabel, Molly (Angel), Elliott and Charlie. Younger brother of Dave Lawes, Nelson and Uncle of Bevan, Robin, Jeni and families. Special thanks to the staff at Evelyn Page hospital for their care of Bevan and our family, you made his last weeks special. A service to celebrate Bevan's life will be held at 11.00 am, Thursday 14 November at St Christopher's Chapel, HMNZS PHILOMEL, Devonport Naval Base.
