To Anne and Phil, Linda and Paul and families,
For the last 29 years I have seen Betty every Friday morning. We have laughed, sometimes cried, talked about her girls and my children, discussed books , dogs and generally set the world to rights! I shall miss Your Mum terribly and consider her a very dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lorraine Borich

Hello Ann & Phil, Linda and Paul and families.
I knew Betty, of course, from the very beginning when she married your Dad, our Uncle Sid, and she was much closer in age to Dorothy and me than our other aunts and uncles.
Betty was always friendly and cheerful and had a very positive outlook on life. She always seemed to enjoy life although she must have found it hard when your Dad died. They seemed to be such a good partnership. I know she supported your Dad tremendously and they worked very hard when they were building up the printing business.
It was lovely to see Betty when she came over here to visit our Dad & Auntie Nellie and I remember Dudley and I and David & Graham took her to London to visit the Tower of London, as she had never seen it while she lived in England, and after that we went to Tower Bridge.
It was great when my Dad and Auntie Nellie went to New Zealand on two occasions and spent several months with you all and then Auntie Nellie went on her own after our Dad died. They really enjoyed those trips and, of course, they all got on so well. Your Mum was a great hostess and seemed to enjoy having folks around her.
We will be thinking of you all on 6th September and will remember Betty in our prayers
Love and kind thoughts to you all,
Audrey, David & Nicky, Graham, Suzy and Aidan
Also Dorothy & Harold
