Betty GUNSON Obituary

GUNSON, Betty Patricia. Dearly loved Wife, Mother, Mother in law, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother in her 91st year. Died on 9th November 2015 of a broken heart, finally at peace and now in her husband Clarrie's arms. A short Memorial service for close family and friends will be held at St Saviour's Anglican Church, Franklin Street, Pirongia on Monday, 16th November 2015 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Awamutu St John would be appreciated and may be left at the Church. All communications please to the Gunson family c/- P O Box 137, Te Awamutu 3840. Dearest Aunty, thank you to you and Pop for allowing me to be part of your lives,unforgiving love, guidance that made me what I am today. My thoughts are with my Brothers the late Graeme (Sadly missed) & Neville and families, I am unable to attend your memorial service, so on Monday at 1 pm I as my tribute to you both I am going to play "Abide with me & Amazing grace" on my pipes, both hymns I know you loved! Followed by a small whisky! Gunson farm was always my happy place as a child & adult. Always remembered.

Nanna Betty, we are so glad we got to share our calf club day stories with you only a couple of weeks ago, you were in such good spirits. We also loved your roses for flower show at school. We love you. Love Briley and Blake
