DOREE, Betty. Betty passed away on August 6 at Waiapu House, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late John Doree. Dearly loved mother of Helen and Tony Stavely (Australia), Anne Doree and Neil Harker (Opotiki), Graeme and Lynette Doree (Auckland), Jean and Mark McGavock (Te Awanga). Adored Nana of Lorraine and Chris Power, Sarah Tansey, Fiona and Mark Tinelt, Alwyn and Jaye Tansey; Melanie and Dean Cole, Daniel King and Awhina Reihana, Oliver King; David Doree, Michael and Kim Doree, Kim Doree and Richard Helman; Clem and Nicki McGavock, Zoe McGavock and Jack Pullman. Legendary and loved Great Nana of Madeline and Sam, Tex, Kyle, Ruby, Isobella, Mikayla, Griffin, Cody, Ava, Hannah (dec), Ashleigh (dec), Jazz, Zak, Levi, Jack, Blake and Banjora. Great-great Nana of Amarli. Special thanks to the kind staff at Waiapu House, Havelock North for their wonderful care of our mother over the last few years. A service for Betty will be held at Crestwood, 615 Heretaunga Street East, Hastings on Wednesday August 10 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.
