Sadly, I cannot be there in person to farewell Betty and to support Brett & Marise, Fras and Lesley & family. It was a privilege to have had Betty in my life. Such a beautiful lady, with a kind and generous heart that had so much capacity for love. Always a radiant smile greeted people, and always so positive and generous. Betty´s amazing gardens, home made wine and cooking reflected her creativity and passion for life. Thankyou Bet for your love and support over the years, it has meant so much not only to me but to my family. Go well beautiful Bet, Rest In Peace. Love and condolences to the extended Burkett and Swanson family´s. XxXx Arohanui Jill xxxxx

A truly special lady, who will be forever in our hearts and remembered with much love for her incredible inner strength and positive approach to life; the way she could light up a room; her caring for others, and loyal friendship to my parents - and of course her incredible gardens ! May you soar forever on the wings of angels Betty, you have earned it. Deepest condolences to Brett, Fraser and families on your loss - your Mum was one of the best xxx
