Evan, we are just so sorry that you are going through this. We have fond memories of holidaying with Beth many years ago in Taupo, and more recently at Bible School - especially the dancing! May you find strength to get through each day, and feel the love of your family, friends and our Lord as you find a new, unwanted normality. Much love x

We sorrow with you in your grief as the loved husband and family. It is deeply shocking to have happened in an instant of time. May the God of all comfort ease your pain and fill you with sweet memories of life with Beth. With love in Jesus.

Dear Evan and The Marley and Smith family, our prayers and condolences are with you in this gruelling time. Beth had such a generous spirit and her warmth touched everyone. She will be genuinely and sincerely missed by us all.
It is hard to think of a Bible School without Beth´s positive energy or Sunday meeting, her greeting and smile. Arohanui, until we meet again. xo

Beth...

I wish I wasn't having to write this.
You were always so kind to me at work - so willing to tutor or explain, patiently going through all the gnarly maths stuff that seemed to come so naturally to you but just made NO sense to my brain!

While you talked me down from maths induced frustration so often, which is something I will always be grateful for; the more important factor is that you did it with kindness and empathy. It's a quality that I wish more people lead with in the world, and you exemplified every day.

You were also one of the few that had the same warped sense of humour as I did - just an all-round cool chick. We are all going to miss you terribly in the office

Sending all the love to you and your loved ones and whanau.
