Bernice Welsh Obituary

WELSH, Bernice Minnie. Peacefully on Sunday morning, February 19, 2012, at Auckland City Hospital surrounded by her family. Aged 85 years. Cherished and dearly loved wife of Mervyn (Auckland). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Robyn and Vaughan Stebbing (Auckland), Jenny and Bob Zimmerman (Dargaville), and Steve and Leanne Welsh (Napier). Dearly loved Grandma of Robyn's children Carolyn and Tom (Sydney), Richard (Oxford) and James; Jenny's children Brett, and Michelle and Rian (Perth) and Jason (deceased); and Steve's children Zac and Charlotte. Dearly loved sister of Nola and Tom Hurford (Blenheim), and sister-in-law of Marie and Ken Johnson (Leeston). "God saw that you were weary, the hill too steep to climb so we gently closed your loving eyes and whispered peace be thine." The family wishes to thank all Mum's carers at Selwyn Village, and the medical teams of Ward 6, 14 and Coronary Care at Auckland City Hospital for their compassionate care for Bernice.
