Bernard REID Obituary

REID, Bernard Leslie William. Died unexpectedly but peacefully on 5 January 2024 aged 61. Cherished son of Pat and Keith, loved brother of Felicity, Stephanie, Richard and Michael, loved uncle of Sophie, Luca, Sobia and Anousheh, and brother-in-law and friend of Robert, Bryan, David, Sofina and the late Warren. "The flame that burns twice as brightly burns half as long".

Bernard was such a large part of our family . So many many memories from our special Easter celebration dinners to Christmas and just getting together to cook . Sorry Bernard but my Thai green curry was just a tad better and when we did our last count of countries visited I did beat you as the Vatican City is counted. Rest in peace Bernard you deserve it. Lots of love and special memories Netty xxxx

I was so shocked to hear of Bernard's passing. Such an intelligent and talented man (those piano songs), and loved his family so much. I always enjoyed hearing what the girls were up to. Will miss his friendship, wit, astute views and sense of humour. Thinking of you all Gaylene, The girls and family. Take care

Such a shock to hear of Bernard´s passing. Most of my working life spent as his colleague. My thoughts are with Gaylene, his daughters, and other family.
