It was with much sadness that we learned today of the loss of Bernard. We were regular visitors to his wonderful antique shop and we always looked forward to a yarn with him. He was a knowledgeable friendly man with a great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by us.

Very sad to hear the passing of Bernard. I didn't know him personally but I did cross paths with Bernard 8 years ago when I got him to pop over to the family home to buy my late dad's antiques .I had popped into his store over the years had some great conversations. Last time I spoke to Bernard was mid last year he really made me laugh with his jokes. Rest easy now Bernard. Remember it's not goodbye,it's see you later. Best wishes to the family.
