LE HERON, Bernard Sidney (Bernie). Passed away peacefully on 2 September 2010 in his 92nd year. Very dearly loved husband of the late Bernice, much loved father and father- in-law of Richard and Judy, Patricia (Paddy) and Brian, John and Yvonne, Robert and Vivienne, dearly loved grandfather of Kiri and Richard, Erena and Chris, Marama and Brent, Mia and James, Samuel, Campbell and Emma, Renine and Joel, Sam and the late Bobby, loved great-grandfather to Elle, Amy, Sophie and Flynn. Our sincere thanks to all the staff at Lady Allum for their loving care. A service to celebrate Bernie's life will be held at the Devonport Methodist Church, Owens Rd, Devonport on Tuesday 7 September at 11.00am followed by private cremation. LE Heron, Bernard Sydney. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Ernest and Dawn (Morrinsville), Nancy and the late Wally (Auckland), Charles and Joanne (Waimate North) and their families. A bright inspirational man who will be sadly missed.
