Sorry to hear of Bernie's passing. He was a good age. We his cousins in Rotorua and Tauranga remember going to his 70th birthday. Con had done afternoon tea. Well we all know and her afternoon tea the dining table was full of beautiful little cakes all decorated like a wedding cake , savories, everything done like a work of art. She was a good cook. We took Horace and Cora up to see her sister Elsie, Bernie's Mum. She lived near Bernie and Con. Auntie Elsie was very clever with her Ikebana Japanese arrangements and her art on pottery. She gave us one of her handpainted bowls for a wedding present. Bernie always sent us a Christmas card, but in the last two years he rang us. But last there was no contact so we thought he was unable to do so. Oh so long Bernie St Bernard Lawrence it very nice knowing you. Kindest regards and love from your cousin Lance and Pam xx Also your cousin GRAHAM Tauranga , and DAWSON in Kaitkati, and MERVYN in Tauranga. LANCE in Tauranga, and ELAINE in Rotorua all send there good wishes to Bernies other family God Bless you Bernie. Our email is [email protected] for any contacts
