On rare occasions through the years Mr Holibar has come to mind and again on several days ago, and now I see he has passed. I well remember a dapperly dressed, pleasant and patient teacher. Third form music 1968. Being in the chorus in productions of HMS Pinafore, The Mikado and Iolanthe was the highlight of my high school years. He was a treasure!

Ngaere,Mr Holibar taught me music in my third form year at Rutherford but I came to know Berne better through your eyes and we learnt how much you loved him and he you and your children.You have been a very supportive and caring wife.Take care of yourself.

HOLIBAR, Bernard. Bernard will always be special to our family as Valerie's father-in-law and also for the warmth and welcome he extended to the rest of our family.
