Grateful to have known Bernie as a founding member of what was then the New Zealand Society of Plant Physiologists. He was one of our few Life Members and leaves a strong legacy of support for his discipline. Loving thoughts to the family on your loss.

To Sue and family, my sincerest condolences. I remember Bernard as a kind, well-considered and respectful person. My thoughts are with you.

Sincere condolences to you Rachel, Ewan, Sue and families at this sad time. Many people throughout Palmerston North and Manawatu have benefited from the amazing work Bernard was involved in for the betterment of us all.
