I remember Bernie from Kingseat Hospital days, that was named after a Scottish hospital.
I worked there from 1976 to 1981.
I remember a very caring and dedicated man in mental health or the hospital-based psychiatric nursing speciality.
Bernie was thoughtful, quietly bright, respected and appreciated.
Rest in peace, now ! Fois dhut , Ka aroha hoki .
