Very sorry to learn of Bepan's recent passing. The world has lost a beautiful light and flower, a talented and creative soul and a kind and caring human being. Your art was dazzling, you brought joy and inclusivity through your exhibitions, humour and happiness to a lot of people. Sorry, we never got to work on the Samantha Fox in Bolywood exhibition. Hello to your lovely dad and your beautiful mum - i remember her in her beautiful sari's and disco glitter sneakers at your exhibition at Mangere Art Centre. Such a wonderful family. This is very sad. Please say hello to my mum and gran for me. x

I had the pleasure to meet Bepen when he was a McCahon House Resident artist and a few times after his wonderful exhibition "When Frankie Goes to Bollywood", at Te Uru Gallery & subsequently at exhibitions, events and activities. He was so talented, kind, gentle and inclusive. A verysad loss to the art world.

Very sad to hear of Bepen´s passing. He was a good friend and supporter of my curatorial work. I had the immense pleasure and honor to have curated his painting exhibition at Mangere Arts Centre. RIP e hoa. James & Lisa
