Ben BLECKMANN Obituary

The photo's I just sent are from Ben when he was younger. On the photo of our grandfather he is the boy on the right and I am the little girl with bangs. On the photo of the party at home he is the man on the right couch, his mother Joke is sitting next to him. I grew up with him in Indonesia and got back by boat to Holland in 1946. We emailed the past years. The day before he died I sent him some old picture not knowing he was ill. I am very sad for his loss. He was just 11 days younger than me.

This morning my mother Tjieke Deuss-Wichers read the e-mail from Morag that Ben, her nephew, passed away. She cried. They grew up together in Indonesia and traveled by boat to Holland. My mother lives in Malden in the Netherlands. She will place photos's here of A young Ben. With love, Iris
