Beatrice MORRIS Obituary

MORRIS, Beatrice ""Ruth"" (nee Robertson) Passed away peacefully at Willowgrove Long Term Care Centre in Ancaster on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the age of 97. Predeceased by loving husband Theo Hamilton (1965). Devoted mother of Carolynn McMillan (Bruce), Shelley Richardson (David), Kim Felker (Rick), and David Morris (Maryann). Cherished grandmother of Katherine McMillan (Clay Barry), Jordan Richardson (Erinn), Graham Richardson (Jillian Robertson), Andrea Felker (Chris Haigh), Meghan Felker, Annie Morris and Keltie Morris. Proud great-grandmother of Avery, Amelia, Arlo, Roland, Oliver and Martin. Dear sister of Jean Millar-Hanneson and Wilda Cupido (Charles). Predeceased by her parents the late William and Frances Robertson, and siblings Charlene Robertson, Marguerite Coulson (late Orlo), Russell (late Audrey), and George (late Shirley). Ruth will be dearly missed by many other extended family, friends and numerous colleagues from her years working at the Attorney General's Department. As per her wishes, private cremation and interment have taken place. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Smith's Brant Street Chapel on Saturday, November 25, 2017 beginning at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow at the funeral home. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Ruth's memory to The Canadian Diabetes Association, Kid's Help Phone, or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciate by the family. www.smithsfh.com
