Basil SUBRITZKY Obituary

Subritzky, Basil Kent. It is with much sadness, but relief, we announce our beautiful Dad, Basil Subritzky, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the 11th hour, Wednesday night, 15th April 2026, aged 86 years, 'after suffering a stroke Monday morning. Dad had dementia and is now in a better place with his late wife Raewyn. Much loved father and father-in-law of Brett and Susan, Angela, and Leisa. Dearly loved Poppa of Shyvon, Annalise and Muraad, Stephanie and Jonno, Sharmyn, Jason and Nicole, Dylan, Tom and Kayleigh. A funeral service will be held at Elim Church, 159 Botany Road, Botany Downs, on Wednesday 22nd of April, at 10.30am, followed by a celebration of his life and stories at 1.00pm at Bucklands Beach Yacht Club, Ara Tai Drive, Half Moon Bay. So sorry to hear about the passing of lovely Basil. My dad (Barry) and I have some wonderful memories of spending time with Basil and Beth in Pah road. He was so much fun to chat to and had a great sense of humour. Dad and Basil would often get together and have a good yarn . You will be deeply missed Basil, but thank you for the good times and happy memories I will forever keep in my heart. May you rest in peace, lots of love from Eve and family.
