I first meet Bart playing Rugby against him as a school boy. Later we became involved in surf life saving. Both my son's, Richard and Winston played Rugby with Michael and Mason for Mahurangi.
Bart always made time to reminisce on our younger days. A brilliant Rugby player and swimmer.

Condolences Sue and family on Barts passing. We worked together many years ago at Clean Marine. While the business was not successful, Bart was fun to work with, always jovial and happy, reliable and hard working, with a good story or two. He was a very good man. Take care, David Boyd
