Bartha HILL Obituary

HILL, Bartha Finna. Peacefully, on March 21, 2025, at Leslie Groves Home and Hospital, Dunedin, surrounded by her family; aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of Graham (deceased), adored mother of Andrew and Lori, John (deceased), Philip and Marian, and Doug and Jennifer, cherished Grandma of Joshua, Caleb, Jessica and Taylor, Nathan, Rebekah and Dannielle, Emily, Thomas, Grace and Jacob, deeply loved eldest daughter of the De Bres family. Safely in the arms of Jesus and at rest with Graham after a long battle with dementia. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care from all the staff of Leslie Groves in her last years. ~I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121v1~ A service for Bartha will be held in St Ninians Church, Kane Road, Hawea Flat at 1pm on Friday, March 28. Dear Joke Kuiper,
Thank you for your message. We have a picture of her, which I believe is with you, before she left the Netherlands. It sounds like you kept in touch with her, at least for a time. I had a feeling that you had a special relationship and it must have been hard for both of you when she went to New Zealand.

I remember Barthje from Amersfoort, Holland. We went to school together. I still have her wedding photo. I am very sorry to hear she passen away.
My sincere condoleances to all of you.
I remember my stay with your familie in Eindhoven . We went to a swimming Pool and a museum.
