Barry you may no longer be in this world but memories of you and Christine will linger in our minds forever.

Barry was a warm, friendly and funny man. When ever I would see him, I would say “Hiiii Barry!” He would rolls his eyes and grumble “What is she doing here?”, but always with a cheeky grin. You were a great man and I was lucky enough to get to see the funny and hardworking side to you. You will be greatly missed, but we will always remember you in your beautiful girls and grand babies. My condolences, love and prayers to the Winter family.

I have known Barry over 30 years in a professional capacity, back in the days of early extension work at Whittaker's chocolate factory and other jobs. I appreciated Barry giving my son an apprenticeship at Winters. He is now a successful young man thanks to that opportunity. I am sad to hear that Barry has passed away.

Barry gave me a start in the electrical industry with an apprenticeship. I have many happy memories of working with Barry at Winter Electrical and value the experience I gained working with him and the many laughs along the way. A great boss, mentor and friend. Deepest condolences to the Winter family.

Barry, you will be missed by all. A gruff exterior hid a sweet, gentle, witty and humorous man.
You will now be with your true soulmate, Christine.

I will always remember Barry as a wonderful person with a generous spirit and enjoyed his fellowship when he was for sometime a member of the Rotary Club of Eastern Hutt Inc. and now he has been called to higher service. Cannot speak high enough of Barry, his spirit will live on .

Thank you for being the man you were Barry, you raised five truly amazing women who will miss you dearly.
