Barry was an interesting character and a real gentleman. He was known as the "Pickles King" with him distributing jars of his secret recipe around friends. My heartfelt condolences go out to dear Mary and Barry's family. RIP in RocknRoll Heaven,Barry

I will always remember the years I worked with Barry at Smith and Smith glass in Wellington. Barry was a good friend and mentor. We done many large jobs together and had plenty of laughs over the years. I am very sad to hear of the passing of Barry and though it has been more than 30 years since we worked together I thought of Barry a lot over the years and the laughs we had together. Barry´s laugh was one you never forget.
I would love to come and pay my respects and no doubt here many great story´s about Barry but unfortunately I am overseas at this time.
My condolences to Barry´s family.

Andre and Doreen de Haan are sorry that our friend Barry has passed away. We enjoyed many a social visit from Barry with laughs and some great story telling. Then out he goes to his car, he changes his shoes into boots, gets his rifle and off down the farm for a walkabout in the hope to find some bunnies. Big smiles on his return back to the house for some more hot cuppa's, before heading home to Hamilton.
Barry was a great guy, always happy and laughing, we will miss him.
Please accept our condolences to family and friends.
