Barry NICHOLSON Obituary

NICHOLSON, Barry David. On 4th October 2025, Barry passed away suddenly at Craigweil House, Parakai; aged 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Beverly. Loved father and father in law of Selma and Tim, and the late Hamish. A proud Grandfather of Gavin. A service to celebrate Barry's life will be held at the chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 39 Riverside Road, Orewa at 11am on Friday 10th October 2025.

Selma , I met you just what seems a few weeks ago in relation to your dad in the local post shop. I'd been serving your mum and dad for years and they're such a lovely jolly couple. It was such a shock to learn he'd gone into craigwell , but to be honest it shouldn't have been after also learning his grand age when he passed. He is someone I'll never forget and it was such a delight to know him!!
