Barry MITCHELL Obituary

MITCHELL, Barry James. Passed away peacefully on 15 April 2026, aged 83 years, following a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Anne. Deeply loved father of Timothy and Catherine, and much loved father-in-law of Julian. Proud Grampce of Estella and Skyler. Born in Whanganui, Barry was a long-time resident of Howick, Auckland. He served in the RNZAF before going on to a distinguished career as a pilot with Air New Zealand. A true gentleman with a warm nature and a great sense of humour, Barry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
