HITCHEN, Barry Kelvin. Peacefully on Saturday 18 July 2015 at home with family by his side. Aged 78. Deeply loved husband, friend and pal of Ada-Ellen (Binkie) for 62 years. Adored and admired father and father in law of Sandra, Brett, Melissa and Michael. Super special Poppa to Mark, Matthew, Luke, Charlotte, Jessica, and Lucy. Great Grandpoppa to Blake Gavin. "He was the rock in our family. The calm, loving, safe place in the centre of our world." Grateful thanks to Mary Potter and District Nurses for their support. A celebration of Barry's life will be held in Wheeler's Guardian Funeral Home Chapel, Auty Lane Porirua on Thursday, 23 July at 1:00pm, followed by a private cremation.
