Barry HEGMAN Obituary

This entry is almost a year late as I just discovered Barry had died.
As director and owner of Off The Ledge our dealings with Barry go back to 1998 as he was building manger on an Auckland high rise apartment
I immediately liked Barry and over years he freely shared his wisdom and life lessons with me helping me mature as an up and coming business owner.
I was always impressed by his honesty and integrity and his fierce determination to hold everyone accountable, including me snd my business, to the highest possible performance standard.
Years after Barry retired we went out for coffee and spent the whole morning talking story and even though he was a generation older than me I felt like there was no age gap only aroha

HEGMAN, Barry. It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of our dear friend Barry. He was fiercely loyal and we will miss him dearly. We will remember the good times, of which there were many. Our love to Susan, Maria and Andrew at this time. Love always, Graham and Maureen Matthews.
