Barbara and I were saddened to hear that Barry had passed away.I worked with Barry when he was in Te Kuiti, and after he moved we kept in touch through the job. When he retired to Tekuiti he became a regular visitor to our place in Otorohanga.
He will be dearly missed by us both.
Our sincere condolences to the family.
RIP Barry.

Hey Baz, many a good memory from our 'excursions' at Te Aroha college to our life and times in the uniform, we had a bloody great time!
You always had a good outlook on life and this will live on in your family and friends mate.
Sorry I missed a final catch up here, we will rectify this in the future buddy.

Baz was a great school mate and we were a part of the neighbourhood kids clan. Awesome memories with an amazing man who would do anything for anyone. Now go riding in the clouds with your lovely Thelma. Rest in peace my dear friend

Our heartfelt sympathy to JJ, Reece, Bruce, Ken, Dave, Albot and extended families. Our love and thoughts are with you at the loss of such a kind, caring and genuinely beautiful human who was my cousin Thelma´s soulmate to the end. They will be reunited now together for eternity both free of any health worries.
I´m only sorry I can´t join you in person to honour and celebrate Barry´s life.

Great memories of growing up with Barry in our early teenage years, exploring abandoned gold mines in the Wairongomai Valley, climbing Mt Te Aroha just for something to do, playing Rock records as loud as we could while his Mum and Dad were milking the cows. Still brings a smile to my face.
Condolences to the family.
