Barry CURTIS Obituary

CURTIS, Barry Livingstone Passed away Wed. 25 August 21 after a long illness. Teacher, floriculturist, and Life Member of the Tauranga Orchid Society. Loved husband and BF of Elizabeth (Libby), adored father and grandfather of Andrea, Melissa, Nakita and Jesse (of Katikati); much loved father, father-in-law and grandfather of Logan, Gina, Quinn and Jeremy (Wanaka) and of Grant and Naoko (Nelson). Brother and brother-in-law of Colin and Margaret (Hamilton), Neil and Yvonne (Wellington), and Kelvin Deal (Whakatane, now Mt. Maunganui). Barry was a very special person and will be hugely missed by his family and many friends. A Memorial and celebration of his life will be held when it will be possible to do so, and all who knew him will be welcome.

A very sad day for all of us who knew Barry. To Libby and family, my heart goes out to you. Once we are all able to, we will come together and remember the man he was. Rest in peace Barry, your pain is no more.
