To my beautiful blue-eyed father. May you sing louder, more boldly and more joyously, than earth could contain. May your soul rejoice in your Creator, now living with Him face to face. May the distance between us be just a vapor; a moment in the great eternal spectrum. And as you watch us from the balconies of Heaven, may your legacy be a light shining in this dimly lit world. For most of his life, Uncle Barry was a happy, engaged person with a prodigious musical talent and a generous spirit. I was proud to be his niece. Some of my happiest childhood memories are of spending time with Uncle Barry, Aunty Kaye and the cuzzies at their farm/s. Vale, Uncle Barry. You will be deeply missed. Tracey, Rob, Alexandra, Kimberley and families.

The members of Downbeat Big Band offer their condolences to Barry's family. Barry was Musical Director of Downbeat Big Band for several years. He conducted the band and wrote numerous arrangements during that period. Barry was an outstanding conductor, arranger, and musician and was well liked and respected by all. We are saddened by his passing.

We both worked with Barry from the early 90's and featured in his bands, The Rodney Jazz Connection, Three For All, Downbeat, and the Barry Clewett Showband. Barry was an outstanding musician, vocalist, arranger and bandleader. He was a consummate pianist and stylist and always a joy to work with. Barry has been sadly missed by many musicians and vocalists. We send our condolences to his family. Pat & Clare Reinhardt
