Barry BRACEWELL Obituary

BRACEWELL, Barry Leslie. (Reglt No. 811891, Lcpl, J Force, NZA). Peacefully at Thames Hospital, on 15th June, 2014; aged 85 years. Beloved husband of Pauline and treasured father and father-in-law of Michael and Caitlin, Glenn and Wendy, Carlton and Michelle, Kerry and Tina, Donna and Stephane, Dean and Phillipa. Loved grandfather of 18 grandchildren and great- grandfather of 7. 'Sadly missed.' Thanks to Thames St John and Hospital staff for their wonderful care of Barry. A service to celebrate Barry's life will be held at the Counties Manukau Rugby Stadium, Franklin Road, Pukekohe, on Friday 20th June, at 2pm, followed by private cremation. BRACEWELL, B L (Barry). A member of the NZ Barbarians since 1971. Barry was a proud and active member of the Barbarians and made a significant and valuable contribution to rugby and the Club. Barry's death is a sad loss, not only to the Club but also to the many friends he made through the Barbarians.
