BURNEY, Barrie Dunstan. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barrie on November 5th 2025 at North Shore Hospital. Dearest darling husband of Pat. Loved Dad and Father in Law of Lee and Rex, Grant and Ann, and Belinda. Treasured Grandad of Maddison, Kennedy Rose, Liam, Isabella, Ashley and Sean. Barrie will be so very missed and in our hearts forever. A celebration of Barrie's well lived life will be held on Wednesday November 12th 11am at Forrest Funeral Home, 8 Glen Road, Browns Bay.

I was very sad to hear about Barrie's passing. Sending my sincere condolences to Pat, Lee, Grant and wider family. Fondly remembering the Burney household from the 1970s - including the fabulous swimming pool which Barrie once saved me after going under the water while a sister sat on my shoulders. Thank you Barrie. RIP.
