Barbara McINTOSH Obituary

McINTOSH, Barbara Winsome (née Calder). 24 August 1935 - 23 March 2025 (aged 89) Passed away so peacefully, surrounded by family. Dearly loved mother and mother-in- law of Cathy and Mike, Andrew, Philip and Justine. Absolutely adored Granny of Charlotte, Tiffany, Blair, Emily and Kate. And greatly missed by her "surrogate son", Ned. Our heartfelt thanks to the angels at Rawhiti Estate, who showed her such extraordinary kindness and made her end of life so rich. A service to celebrate Barbara's wonderful life will be held at St Aidan's Church, Remuera, Monday 31 March, at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dementia NZ would be greatly appreciated.

Dearest brick, you were the glue that held us together over all those years.When you could not longer do it , we fell apart. I will always remember you riding into school, dignified with a grin on your face onthat dreadful old bike that I suspect was your mother´s.!!,

McINTOSH, Barbara Winsome. At Rawhiti Estate, passed away peacefully on 23 March 2025 in her 90th year. Surrounded by her family. A life lived in dedicated service to her 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Special friend of Graeme and Jean.
