Jane HUDSON Obituary

Jane´s caring spirit, encouraging smile, and deep faith touched many. The Catholic community will miss her dearly and the world is a sadder place because of her passing. May perpetual light shine upon her, may she rest in peace.

I am going to miss our banter relationship Jane. Thank you for all the memories that I will always cherish. Love always from Dylan, Sarah, Alyssa, Thomas, Terry, Maverick and Betty.

Thank you Jane for being a friend and a free thinking ally on recent events. Your support was greatly appreciated. You are in a better place now.

Dearest ever loyal friend and school mate at McAuley High School.... your going is a major loss to us left behind.

You lived a God-focused and loving life.... so gentle, so enduring, so much a servant. You have earned your rest... and your place among the angels.

My heart aches with sadness. I wished I´d seen you as you journeyed towards your last breath.

Dearest Jane,
We have been friends for 55+yrs & spent so much time together since the time we first met in the Auckland Catholic tramping club. We went on so many tramps, fruit picking in Motuaka, travelled to Sydney & flated together. Since our return to Auckland from Aussie I loved our nights where you & Alan, Ian & I would have dinner & play card's at our place. I can't imagine my life without you in it. I will love you always my dearest friend & we will meet up again when I get to that next place. Rest & God bless Miriam (Mim)

When I recall my memories of Jane, I can almost hear the voice of my kind aunty. I can't think of a single one where she was mean or unfair or angry. Hope to see her again in the next life and never have to say goodbye again. Rest now, Jane.
