Barbara JELICICH Obituary

JELICICH, Barbara Jean (nee McLennan). Passed peacefully after a short illness at Auckland Hospital surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, 9th July 2025. Born in New South Wales on 11 November 1937. Loved and cherished wife of the late Stephen and much loved mother of Nicole, Milenka, Fiona (deceased), Gabrielle, Stephan, Mathew and Treasured Grandma of Amanda and Edward, Ben, Sophia, Piet and Jan, Tessa and Louis, Cati, Tomasso and Bliss, Josephine, Alba, Zali, Lola and Luca - as well as her many great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews living in Australia. As the most capable person we will ever know, her legacy and tremendous spirit lives on within her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thanks to the lovely staff at Auckland Hospital. In early August, the family will be hosting Barbara's Celebration of a life well lived. For details, please contact a family member.
