HUNT, Barbara Elizabeth Passed away unexpectedly at North Shore Hospital on Saturday 9 August 2014 aged 87, surrounded by loved ones. Much loved wife of the late Gethin, cherished mother of Caroline, Yvonne, Rees and Glenda, sister of Christine, companion of the late Reg Parkin, loved mother-in-law of Ross and George. Beloved grandmother of Paul, Deborah, Andrea, Andrew, Michelle, Hayden, James, Claire, Danielle and Anna. Adored great grandmother to Danny, Harley, Henry, Cole, Ethan, Jaime, Riley, Sophie, Ruby, Hazel and Madison. Special thanks to the amazing staff at Maureen Plowman Rest Home, Browns Bay and the team at North Shore Hospital for their respectful care. A funeral service will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Thursday 14 August at 3.00pm.

HUNT, Barbara Elizabeth (formerly of Wellington). Mum peacefully passed away at North Shore Hospital on Saturday morning, 9th August 2014, aged 87. Much loved and cherished mum (aka 'ma') of Glenda, 'favourite mother in law' of Ross, and caring, special grandma to James and Claire. A huge thank you to the caring and empathetic staff at Maureen Plowman's Rest Home in Browns Bay and North Shore Hospital. "Mum I will miss you so much. It was way too early for you to go as we had so many more outings and coffees to have. We all have fond and cherished memories of you. Take care and love you forever xxxxx."

Dearly loved and cherished Mum of Caroline, and respected mother-in-law of George Chaplin and the late Frank Knox. A much loved and a very special Grandma of Anna (Melbourne), Deborah (Debbie) and Shawn, and Andrea. Loved Great Grandma of Danny, Harley, Henry, Cole and Madison. "We will miss your loving care and the interest you took in our lives. We will hold memories of you that will last forever. You will always stay close in our hearts."

Adored, cherished and dearly loved Mum and friend of Yvonne (aka Ma), a treasured Grandma of Paul and Andrew, loved Grandma-in-law of Nat and Kate and a very special Great Grandma of Ethan, Jaime, Riley, Sophie and Ruby. "To soon Ma, we still had so much more to do together. Ma, I will miss the time we spent with each other, our chats about you-know-what, and the coffees, fun and laughter we shared.
