Barbara GRAMMER Obituary

GRAMMER, Barbara Joy. Barbara passed away peacefully Sunday 26th May 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Evan William Grammer, the love of her big and beautiful life. An awesome Mum to Nicola, Linda and Megan. A fabulous mother-in-law to Tim and Dave. An epic Gran to Ella, Grace, Rose, Harrison, Ben Tom and Oliver. She will be remembered with love for her sense of humour, kindness, generosity, and at times her stubborn independence. As per her strict wishes, the family will be having a private celebration of her life. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care she received from all the staff at Pacific Coast Village where she resided until the end.

So sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. Special memories of both Barbara & Evan when two honeymooners (us) stayed with them on the orchard at Te Puna way back in 1971. Ever in our hearts.

A wonderful friend for fifty-three years, you will be greatly missed. But what an amazing number of memories we have made together, boating, tramping, holidays, packing our first trays of kiwifruit together, and minding each other's babies, so many things.
