So very saddened to read of Barbara's passing. I recall memories of Barbara when I attended Pukekohe North School many years ago also when she became a netball referee. Years went by and I met up with Barbara out of the blue when my grand-daughter was enrolled at Papakura Central Primary. We would always exchanged chats about old times. A lovely lady who always had a smile. RIP Barbara

Dear Barrie and Family,
So sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mrs Duckworth as my first Principal when I started school in 2006 as a 5 year old. She was always such a positive lady who always had an amazing smile on her face. I still remember the feeling of shaking her hand when she would award. You will always be remembered and in our hearts. Rest in peace. Sending love and condolences.

Acknowledging Barb as my principal at a Pretty, Cool, School, a phrase she coined at one of her first assemblies at PCS. Remembering paper folding booklets that never seized to intrigue kids and continues to span a time of teaching and learning with students. Blessed to have had encouraging txt chats with her before she passed. God's peace and condolences to Barrie and family.

To Barry and Family. We were so sorry to hear of Barbara´s passing. It seems only yesterday that we were teenagers and the Hinton & Taylor families had such a great friendship. In adult life we met infrequently but Barb & Barry always greeted us with smilies as friends. We will be thinking of you all tomorrow. Allister & Gayleen Taylor.

Barry and family,
I am so sorry that Barb has gone. I know the world will be less bright without her. She was an amazing lady, so positive, kind, caring and she gave so much to everyone. She spoke so fondly and proudly of her family, especially her grandkids. Barb will be sadly missed by so many, including me. I wished I got to see her one last time, but my trip home comes too late. Remembering our last hug on the boardwalk at Hillarys.
Sending much love xo
