Barbara CHAPPLE Obituary

CHAPPLE, Barbara Gay (nee Kingdon). Passed away aged 81 years on January 23, 2021 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Artist, political campaigner, passionate gardener. Mother of Peter, Donna, Jessica, and Hunter, the late Max and Timmy. Grandmother and Great grandmother. Sister of Dale and Margaret and her husband Neville, and daughter of the late Edna and Mervyn. After a private cremation there is a celebration of her art and life 4pm Wednesday 27 January, Beachhaven Community House, 130 Beachhaven Road. Dress in colour. No home visits unless arranged and all communication to Jessica. In lieu of flowers donations to Harbour Hospice.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Barbara Chapple's passing. Heard today, expressing tender loving care to all her family and friends. She was one of my teachers, in a team at Putiki in the mid 70's. Very fond memories of this time. Was friends, with my sisters, to you Peter and Donna,Jessica and Max. Helen the eldest of the Glover family sending my condolences. I would hope to be able to be there in person as you celebrate her life tomorrow But i do uplift you all in pray as who share family time and stories in the days ahead
