Dear Caroline, Christer and Peter. Also to your spouses and children. Jon and I send our love and condolences to you all on the of you dearest Mother and grandmother. I am Carmela Maplesden [nee Kelly]. My sister Kay Dwyer [nee Kelly] was a close friend of Barbara's. We first met Barbara when Kay and she were at Sacred Heart College in Lower Hutt together. Barbara came home to our parents' farm in Dannevirke, Hawkes Bay, NZ for the school holidays. Over the years the small group of school friends met regularly and I was often invited to join them.
Barbara was a glamorous, delightful, lady like person with a large chunk of mischief.
I think the last time that Jon and I met Barbara was at café on the waterfront in Mission Bay ,Auckland, with Rosalie, Marie and Bridie. On that occasion Barbara said she had decided to sell her apartment and stay in Sweden more. Probably just before Covid hit.
The lunch meetings with Barbara were looked forward to with much enthusiasm.

Also our condolences and love to Elizabeth and Susan. Although I don't know you, I knew of you well through Kay. You will grieve for your lovely sister. It's hard to lose a sister or a mother.

With very kind wishes
.

To Barbara´s family.
Jim and I are very sorry to read of Barbara´s death and send our deepest sympathy.
We have very fond memories of her going back a long time.
Is it possible to have a contact address so we may write to her family on Sweden?
Once again, our deepest sympathy.
