Baboo SIMA Obituary

SIMA, Baboo Chhotubhai (Vinoobhai). Born 14 July 1947, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones at Auckland Hospital on Friday morning 25 October 2024. Dearly loved husband of Damayanti, cherished father of Sunil, Nisha and Nealesh, father-in-law of Tharshani, doting grandfather of Rishaan and Yuvaan. Loved elder brother to Nan, Harry, Arvind, Hansa and Vasanti, much loved and respected brother-in-law, Kaka, Mama, Masa and Fua to all his dear brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He lived a fulfilling life dedicated to his family with passion and commitment to his work. Now at rest, he will forever be in our hearts and dearly missed until we meet again. Funeral service will be held at Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson on Sunday 27 October at 12pm. Besvanu (to pay respects) will be held at the family home on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November from 3-5pm. Our sincere gratitude to all extended family and friends for their love and support during this time.
