Azalea FOXLEY Obituary

FOXLEY, Azalea Vernestine (Zae) (née Newton / Edmonds). Passed away peacefully at home on Monday 7 September 2025, surrounded by her loving family, aged 98 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late George Greacen Foxley. Treasured mother of Gerry and the late Vicki, Rachael and John, Andy and Sharon. Adored Granny and "Super Gran" to her precious grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Her life was a gift of love, warmth, and strength. A celebration of Zae's life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Saturday 13th September at 1pm followed by private burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Whakatane. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Aerocool Rescue Helicopter (Bay Of Plenty) and maybe made online or left at the service.
