Augustin VISKOVICH Obituary

VISKOVICH, Augustin (Gus). Passed away peacefully at Auckland Hospital on 7 September 2017 after a short illness, aged 90 years. Loved husband of Jessie. Loved dad and father in law of Sandra and Pat, Alan and Linda, Paul and Adriana. Much loved Dida / poppa of Hayden, Vanessa, Breanna, Tait and Sam. "Happy sailing Gus" The family wish to thank all the staff at Rangitoto ward, Auckland Hospital. A service will be held at The North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Saturday 16 September at1pm.

We have such fond memories of this wonderful, bear of a man and have missed our neighbours - some of the best - for nearly 20 years since moving back to Canada.

Gus, you are a legend and you lived an amazing, full life. The world is just a little poorer for no longer having you in it, but we will all simply have to join you in a sail on the other side of "that bloody boat!" when we all meet again.

Jesse - so much love coming your way right now - it breaks my heart that we aren't there for you today. What a wonderful, long life he had with you - I know he would want you to stay as strong as you can to live out yours my friend.
