SHORTLAND, Audrey Koi (nee Tarawa). 7 March 1921 - 28 September 2009 In loving memory of our beloved and beautiful mother Audrey koi Shortland nee Tarawa and grandmother to all her mokopuna, also having lived to see and enjoy her 5th generation in great great grandson Noah. Dear Mum, how the time has gone by, a year already, today September 28 2010. Seemed only yesterday when you were with us last. We love you and miss you dearly, and your legacy of love and great example to us all lives on in our lives to eternity. This is how we feel about you Mum: "Not now but in the coming years, it may be in a better land, we'll know the meaning of our tears and then sometimes we'll understand. Then trust in God through all thy days, fear not for He doth hold thy hand. Though dark the way still sing and praise, and then sometimes we'll understand." Our arohanui ki a koe Mum.
