Audrey HARRIS Obituary

HARRIS, Audrey Gwen QSO. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 4th August 2022 aged 89 years at Pukekohe. Loved wife and best mate of Keith, (died 19 July 1985). Much loved mother of Peter and Simon, mother in law of Kate, and Granny of Marcia and Bernie, Monique Melina and Stephano Niehaus, Jared and Becki, Nixon and Haven Kirby, Hadley and Catherine, Grace and Abigail Kirby, Simon and Taryn, Shaelei and Carter Kirby, Regan and Amanda, Oscar and Charles Harris. You were an inspiration to us all and you touched the lives of many. A Funeral for Audrey will be held at Waters Funerals, 81 Franklin Rd, Pukekohe on Monday 15th August, at 12.00 noon, followed by refreshments. Inquiries to: [email protected]

I had the privilege of working with Audrey from 1973-76. She was always, kind, reassuring and positive to our group of teaching newbies. Above all Audrey treated everyone with respect and kindness and will be remembered for the quiet, graceful way she made students, teachers and parents feel welcome. Ka aroha hoki.
