Audrey Davis Obituary
DAVIS, Audrey Belle. On November 19, 2010, Audrey passed away peacefully at Grace Joel Retirement Village; in her 101st year. Loved sister of Beth Kerr (Tauranga), loved wife of the late Lyall Davis and the late Daniel Dowd, dearly loved mother of Judith Hoskins and John Dowd, much loved step-mother of Bruce, Beryl and the late Mac. Treasured grandma of Debbie Pearson, James Hoskins, Dylan Dowd, and Olympia Dowd, loved Grandy of Rennie, Alanah, Alice, and Grace. A Service for Audrey will be held at the All Saints Chapel of Purewa Crematorium, St Johns Road, Meadowbank today Tuesday at 1.30pm. Grateful thanks to Grace Joel for all their loving care. DAVIS, Audrey. Dear Audrey, you were the most elegant and gracious lady. Always interested in those around you. I miss you so much. We were two girlfriends who shared everything. Lifestories, jokes, prayers, clothes and so many chocolates. The age difference meant nothing to us. I was at your 90th and 100th birthday parties, both wonderful celebrations. Two brilliant friends from Brilliant Street. With love, Suzanne and Holly (the only dog other than Cobber you loved).
